Taylor Ri'chard has spent the last 10 years working in production in various roles including directing, writing and distribution for a host of films. In 2001, Ri'chard worked as an associate producer on the Academy Award winning HBO documentary Murder on a Sunday Morning. From there, he went to work as an associate producer for AOL Time Warner in New Orleans assisting in producing a television news magazine on the local WB affiliate called, ”Where’s The Music?” Ri'chard then moved his love for Film and TV to Atlanta, GA where he continued to blaze the trail in the booming film community there.
Ri'chard, is now at the helm of his own company, 3rd Fathom Films, which is an Atlanta-based independent film production company created by Ri'chard and his writing partner Zachary Davis. They released their first feature film, The Final Project to theaters in 2016. The Final Project makes him one of the horror genres first African American screenwriter & director. A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Ri'chard has an MFA in Film & TV, and is currently preparing for release of his second feature film, Hallowed Be Thy Name, slated for release in 2020. The film received the 2019 Award for Best Feature Film at the Content Creators of Atlanta Film Festival.
Among the many projects at 3rd Fathom Films, Ri’chard also created a film industry employment app called CASTU, coming to Android and OS markets late 2020. When not making films, Ri’chard is also serving communities through his 501(c)3 non-profit organization, The RAZE Foundation.
